Personality is derived from a Greek word “Persona” meaning – “part of an image or character of someone”. It is the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual’s distinctive character. The way someone embraces himself, his mood, attitude, perspective towards living, behavior are depicted by personality i.e. the ability of a person to express or represent him towards others.  In today’s era, Personality as a part of major aspect, overcomes all and have been placed at top or second rank. An old saying “One judges other by their footwear” is all about that. The impression whether in terms of Grooming, Dressing, Spoken Skills and many more ways form a Personality. Each Personality is unique and attractive, so you already know attractive things are always top listed.

Personality is all in one. It is full of many attributes and characteristics: not only your looks, dress or beauty. It’s who you internally as well as externally are!

Why is practicing by looking at mirror so much implied for and to get every perfection?

Well yes! You’re right. When we look at ourselves in mirror while practicing on interviews, stage shows, standup comedy, almost for every single commitment that we want to achieve: shows us where we actually are positioned. The perfection which we are looking for- by this practice is something which revolves around confidence, behavior, spoken skills, posture, attitude, neutrality, connection with the words, expressions, combining which we can say how we are portraying ourselves to others. This perfection for oneself is the power and stature of personality.

When you get satisfied with yourself; you attain that thing as your personality.  Hence, Importance of Personality is simply about enhancing confidence, active and expressive behavior, manner-able with assertiveness, commanding and empathy towards oneself with a positive belief.   Your Personality is how you see yourself and makes other believe in who you are! The person who has graceful , confident, positive and best personalities are always in demand in respect to corporate as well as incorporate sectors, they not only add much to their profession also in their living standard of lives.

According to Psychological types: we have all over 16 personalities.  But what I believe is- as quality differs from one person to another; totally at the first and one glance is obviously in millions of number. Adding to which my personality is different from yours and from millions in this world with some or the other differences.

Let’s understand this with the help of some examples illustrated below-   

                                                                 Types of PERSONALITIES

INTROVERSION   (Often like working alone or in small groups, prefer more deliberate pace, and are good at multitasking).	EXTROVERSION   (Are energized by people, enjoy a variety of tasks, a quick pace, and are also good at multi tasking).
THINKERS   (Tend to make decisions using logical analysis, objectively weighs pros and cons, value honesty, consistency, fairness.	FEELERS   (tend to be sensitive and cooperative, decide on the basis of their own personal values and how others will be affected by their actions)
JUDGING   (Tend to be organized and prepared, to make and stick to plans and are comfortable following some rules.)	PERCEIVING   (Prefer to keep their options open, like to be able to act spontaneously, flexible with making plans).

A single man cannot only have introversion personality; he may also have the qualities of feeler, the other one with introversion may bear some qualities of judging personality too. And the one with judging personality can be a bit of extroversion. So, according to my observation “All bears different personalities- The human race is of millions of different people with millions of different personalities”.

 “PERSONALITY BEGINS WHERE COMPARISON ENDS.”  One’s personality has nothing to do with others; there is no such means of comparison in it. Personality is not copying its learning and reforming.

Can Personality be Developed?

One's state of mind can do this. Suppose I am short- tempered because of which I may have aggressive personality. But unless I make myself rigid towards bringing the change I won’t be able to develop or transform a great personality as per my perception.

If I made my mindset that I am peace loving and kind hearted by practicing on it and keeping rigid mindset it will gradually develop a peaceful and graceful personality in me.
